e-CF in the broader contect of Competence Management

In November '13 at the yearly ECP congress 21 Dutch organizations signed a convenant to show their support and commitment to the e-Competence framework. The Dutch e-CF working group has been preparing this and is coordinating further activities to make e-CF a standard for IT skills on the Dutch market. In this article I want to sketch the broader context of IT Competence management, the external connections and the prerequisites to get the benefits of a common language for skills.

The following picture highlights some of the aspects of competence management, select a circle to explore.
